Politico Morning Trade reported on key services priorities that CSI is pushing on behalf of its members. CSI President Christine Bliss told the publication, "As the negotiations intensify and potentially move toward closure, we want to ensure that the remaining open issues in these areas are resolved in a positive, commercially meaningful way that builds on and does not undermine existing NAFTA framework, rules and market access in services, investment and procurement." Bliss’s push coincides with Mexican Economy Secretary Ildefonso Guajardo’s return to Washington for additional NAFTA talks. CSI is working to ensure negotiators keep an eye on rules regarding cross-border services, financial services, telecommunications, investment, digital trade and customs modernization.
